Calmlyworld - BDL 3D

Very often we have NDAs in place for work we do for our customers at BDL 3D, so of course we can’t show off the incredible parts and designs we print on our HP 5200 Multi Jet Fusion 3D printer, which are then cleaned and finished with our DyeMansion post processing equipment.

But now that CalmlyWorld have released their products to market, with patented designs – we’re excited to show the results of their years of R & D.

CalmlyWorld have designed an innovative breathing tool to support a healthier way of relaxing. Calmly’s devices are powered by your own breathing – there are no batteries. These clever devices and locally developed aroma pods aid deep diaphragm breathing, helping to provide stress relief.

This patented invention uses your natural inhale to drive the mini air turbine inside the Calmly device. In turn, this activates an aroma fan drawing a separate airflow through specially blended aroma pods. You draw fresh air into the lungs, whilst soothing aromas are directed to your nose. There are no vapour clouds or nicotine just your breath and the curated Calmly aromas.

For us here at BDL 3D, this is the realisation of our vision – to enable Kiwi innovators, designers, inventors to be able to manufacture their products right here in NZ, in a considered and sustainable way and then take them to the world.
