Polyshot Surfacing

In another first, BDL 3D recently commissioned Dyemansion automated de-powdering and surfacing equipment.

Powershot C cleans excess powder off printed parts. When parts are cleaned manually there is the risk of uneven cleaning, scratching or burning of parts resulting in finished surfaces of inferior quality.

With consistent automated cleaning in Powershot C, our parts can then be surfaced in Powershot S. Powershot S blasts the surface of parts with tiny plastic beads which results in a smooth satin finish. No nasty chemicals.

After surfacing the parts can be post processed further and be dyed, painted, hydro-dipped or electro plated with excellent consistent results.
